Guidance for life - Vocational Centers

The project goal is "Developing support services for socio-professional integration of young people coming from orphanages.
Locations: Volunteer Ilfov, Ramnicu Sarat, Giurgiu

Beneficiaries: 75 children younger than 16 years and resident in orphanages in three locations (Buzau, Ilfov, Giurgiu,) and 75 employees of the Directorate of Child Protection, one 25 from each location (Ramnicu Sarat, the Ilfov, Giurgiu County) .

Major project activities:
- Activities with young people until their discharge from orphanages. (Workshops on independent living skills training, professional orientation and registration activities in training courses, mediation and facilitation activities to young people in the labor market advice.
- Activities with young people after discharge from placement.
- Information campaign, training activities, consultancy activities, implementation of intervention guide the project;
- Activities for monitoring, evaluating and reporting

The specific results expected at the end of the project are:
- We have created a service (Centers Vocational) in each of three locations to meet the specific needs of young people will leave orphanages;
- 75 children and youth in foster care residents will be prepared for independent life
- 40 children and youth in foster care residents will be integrated into work
- 40 children and youth in foster care residents will be autonomous / independent
- 36 young people will come from orphanages will be housed in shelter
- 75 professionals from the child protection system will be ready to act in support of beneficiaries, and will become more responsive to beneficiaries who work.
