Dianoia project aims to establish guidelines and creating ways to support teachers and trainers in adult education in the development of autobiographical and narrative processes in different contexts. In particular, international group that was involved in this affair has created several training modules for training (both initial training and for the continuous) of those working in social work and education.

These modules have been designed to develop competent complex skills that are strictly related to the self-narrative, self-expression and self-knowledge. These skills are fundamental to educational professions. Making and testing modules involved a process that was conducted over a period of three years and involved 21 institutions from different countries (Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Romania, Spain). Hundreds of people were actively involved in this project (also from Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Lithuania, without taking into account our contacts page via the Internet), both in terms of experimentation, as well as studying the validity of these methods.

Target groups
Dianoia project addressed certain professions and organizations:
- school teachers
- social workers and social educators trained
- cultural developers (especially those working at local levels)
- training institutions (universities, training centers and adult)
- organizations that commit this type of professionals (schools, agencies, hospitals, private companies working in the office).

Fot the purpose of providing:
- adoption of skills training modules identified as related to the formation of autobiographical and narrative
- concrete examples of current methods used in Europe
- organized information about training methods and autobiographical narrative, together with theoretical and methodological frames of reference for current practices used in Europe.
- information about possible applications of these skills and methods
- help in planning training
- an international network for discussion, exchange and assistance on the promotion, testing and evaluating new experiences in this field.

Prototype modules include:
These materials are proposals, examples of what can be done. Under no circumstances should a trainer have to "apply" without a prior study of the context, the composition grupuluio, language constraints and matching the needs of its students.

The manual also contains short descriptions of professional practice with narrative methods in different contexts, trainers and students to provide examples of application methods;
