Guidance for Life – Vocational Centre

The project goal is "To develop support services for social and professional integration of young people from orphanages provenisi".
Locations: Volunteer-Ilfov, Ramnicu Sarat, Giurgiu
Beneficiaries: 75 children over 16 years and younger residents in shelters in the three locations (Buzau, Ilfov, Giurgiu) and 75 employees of the Child Protection Directorates, each 25 of each location (Ramnicu Sarat, Ilfov, Giurgiu) .
Major activities in the project:
- Activities with young people until their discharge from orphanages. (Workshops independent life skills training, professional orientation and registration activities at training courses, mediation and facilitation activities the young people in the labor market consultants.
- Activities with young people after discharge from foster homes.
- Information campaign, training activities, consulting activities, implementation of intervention guide the project;
- Monitoring, evaluation and reporting

The specific results expected at the end of the project are:
- We have created a service (Vocational Centres) in each of three locations to meet the specific needs of young people will leave orphanages;
- 75 children and youth in foster care residents will be ready for an independent life
- 40 children and young people living in foster care will be integrated into work
- 40 children and youth in foster care residents will be autonomous / independent
- 36 young people who leave the orphanages will be housed in protected housing
- 75 specialists from the child protection system will be ready to act in support of the beneficiaries, and will become more receptive to the problems beneficiaries who work.
